Registration and Onboarding
The HKTR provides the Reporting Service to entities subject to mandatory reporting requirement in Hong Kong. An entity must join the HKTR as a TR Member before it can make use of the Service.
Application for TR Membership must be made in writing to the HKTR in accordance with the procedures set out in the
Reporting Service Reference Manual. Applicants are required to provide certain operational information to the HKTR and enter into a contractual agreement with the HKMA, i.e. the
Reporting Service Agreement.
The HKTR publishes the
list of TR members and will advise TR members any changes to the list.
A TR Member has to complete a simulation test with the HKTR before it can commence reporting. TR Members can participate in training sessions organised by the HKTR from time to time.
